I totally get the frustration with the cyberJack not being recognized after a restart. It might be worth checking if all drivers are up to date or even trying a different USB port. Sometimes those small tweaks help troubleshoot issues that seem bigger than they are! Has anyone else had success with this approach? I’ve seen similar behavior with USB devices under Linux after a restart. It may be worth checking whether the reader is being detected correctly with lsusb after boot, and whether the relevant pcscd service is running. If the device only appears after reconnecting USB, checking the system logs (journalctl) around the time of boot might help identify whether it’s a USB or service initialization issue.
