I’m running into an issue after installing the most recent update for my REINER SCT device/software, and I’m wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar.
Since the update, my device is no longer being recognized consistently by my system. Before the update, everything worked perfectly fine. Now it either doesn’t connect at all or disconnects after a short time. I’ve already tried:
Reinstalling the software
Switching USB ports
Restarting my computer multiple times
Unfortunately, none of these steps solved the problem.
Has anyone else encountered this issue after updating? If so, were you able to fix it? Any suggestions would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!

I appreciate the insights shared here about connection issues post-update. Perhaps exploring rollback options or user feedback on compatibility could enhance support, offering a broader safety net for users navigating these changes.

Many users experience this issue after a software update. It usually happens because the update leaves behind broken driver fragments, IPO Index, or Windows alters your USB power settings. This causes the system to repeatedly drop the device connection. To fix this, completely uninstall the software, restart, and download the latest "cyberJack Driver Package" directly from the REINER SCT website. When installing, right-click the file and choose "Run as administrator." Finally, open your Windows Device Manager, find your USB controllers, Upcoming IPO, and disable "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
